The Pagan Church of Christ is a non-denominational, earth-honoring spiritual community that draws from both earth-based wisdom traditions and the ethical teachings found in the Gospels. We gather for Sunday services, monthly New Moon Circles, and seasonal ceremonies throughout the year. We are a real, gathered community — not a metaphor.
Neither. You don’t need to identify with any tradition, label, or belief system to attend a gathering. We welcome people who are curious, skeptical, between traditions, or firmly rooted in their own path. The only requirement is a willingness to be present with others who are doing the same.
Sunday Gatherings run about 90 minutes. Chairs are arranged in a circle. We open with a brief centering, share a reading or two (from many different sources), offer a reflection on the theme of the season, hold some silence, sing together, and close with a blessing. Afterward, there’s usually food and informal conversation. You can participate as much or as little as you like.
The New Moon Circle is a monthly gathering held on or near the new moon. It’s quieter and more intimate than the Sunday service — about 60–75 minutes of intention-setting, release, collective silence, and blessing. Many people come to the New Moon Circle who don’t make it to Sunday gatherings. It’s free and open to all. See the next date on our Events page.
We observe the eight points of the Wheel of the Year — the solstices, equinoxes, and four cross-quarter days. Each seasonal ceremony honors the current moment in the earth’s turning with ritual, reading, intention, and shared community time. Some ceremonies are held outdoors. All are open to the public. You don’t need any prior experience with earth-based spirituality to attend.
Membership is an intentional commitment to the community — showing up, contributing, and being part of the circle on an ongoing basis. There’s no fee and no doctrinal test. We ask that you attend a few gatherings first so we can get to know each other. Learn more about membership here.
We are a real, legally recognized religious organization. We are in the process of obtaining 501(c)(3) status. Donations made to the Pagan Church of Christ support our community gatherings, pastoral care, and outreach programs.
We share gathering locations directly with people who reach out to us, to protect the privacy and safety of our community. Visit the Events page to find an upcoming gathering and contact us for the address. We’ll get back to you promptly.
Yes. Children are welcome at Sunday Gatherings and at seasonal ceremonies — especially Beltane and the summer solstice, which are our most family-friendly celebrations. Please reach out in advance if you’re bringing young children so we can ensure the space is set up to welcome them well.
Yes. The Pagan Church of Christ was built for people who have never been sure they belong anywhere. Come once with no commitment, see how it feels, and decide from there. We will be glad you’re there. Read our guide for first-time visitors.
